As the leading breast cancer organization globally, Susan G. Komen® is preparing to bring communities together through their impactful 3-Day, MORE THAN PINK Walk, and Race for the Cure events across the U.S. this fall. These events, taking place from August through November in 43 locations, aim to raise vital funds for breast cancer research, patient support, and advocacy.
This year’s events will create spaces for survivors, supporters, and those currently battling breast cancer to unite and share their stories. For those unable to attend in person, there will also be a virtual “Walk Where You Are” event on October 26, allowing participants to join the cause from anywhere in the country.
Susan G. Komen has been at the forefront of breast cancer research and support since 1989, investing over $1 billion in research and significantly contributing to a 42% reduction in the breast cancer mortality rate. However, with one in eight women still facing a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, the need for continued support and advancements is critical. In the past year alone, Komen has provided over $11 million in financial support and 52,000 essential services to more than 38,000 patients nationwide.
Participants in these events, including breast cancer survivors, co-survivors, and supporters, will walk to raise funds that support crucial services like patient navigation, financial assistance, and emotional support. The funds will also drive research aimed at developing more effective treatments and ultimately finding a cure.

These events are not just about raising money—they are about coming together as a community to support those affected by breast cancer and to continue the fight towards a future without this devastating disease.
