CAMDEN, N.J. — Subaru of America, Inc. has teamed up with actor Max Greenfield and nonprofit AdoptAClassroom.org to provide critical classroom supply funding for teachers in high-needs schools across the United States.
The initiative, part of Subaru’s annual “Subaru Loves Learning” campaign, will benefit more than 5,000 teachers, impacting over 100,000 students nationwide. Each selected educator will receive $500 through AdoptAClassroom.org to purchase essential classroom materials, helping to alleviate the financial burden many teachers face.
Greenfield, best known for his role on “New Girl,” joined Subaru in a promotional video highlighting the importance of supporting educators. “Teachers are the backbone of our communities,” Greenfield said. “They deserve all the help we can give.”
Subaru’s partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org reflects its broader commitment to education and community support. Since 2021, Subaru and its retailers have contributed over $4 million to education-focused initiatives, reaching more than 470,000 students.
“Subaru is proud to stand with teachers who go above and beyond every day,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Subaru of America. “By providing funding for classroom supplies, we hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of educators and their students.”
The campaign encourages the public to join the effort by visiting participating Subaru retailers or donating directly through AdoptAClassroom.org.
