Starlight Children’s Foundation Announces 2025 Award Honorees for Delivering Happiness to Hospitalized Children

LOS ANGELES — The Starlight Children’s Foundation has announced its 2025 award honorees, recognizing individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to improving the lives of hospitalized children across the United States.

The awards, part of Starlight’s ongoing mission to “deliver happiness” to seriously ill children, celebrate excellence in innovation, compassion, and impact. Honorees include healthcare professionals, corporate partners, and community advocates who have supported Starlight’s programs, including its signature initiatives like Starlight Gaming, Hero Wagons, and custom hospital gowns.

“Every year, we are inspired by the incredible people who go above and beyond to bring joy and comfort to children facing medical challenges,” said Adam Garone, CEO of Starlight Children’s Foundation. “These honorees exemplify the spirit of empathy and action that drives our mission forward.”

Among the recipients are representatives from long-standing partners such as Nintendo of America and Radio Flyer, whose contributions have helped expand access to therapeutic play and emotional support in pediatric care settings.

The foundation’s award ceremony also highlighted the role of child life specialists, whose work in hospitals is essential to helping children cope with treatment through play, storytelling, and emotional care.

Starlight’s programs are provided free of charge to a nationwide network of children’s hospitals, thanks to donor support and corporate sponsorships. The foundation continues to advocate for the healing power of play, citing research that shows happier patients often experience faster recovery and improved outcomes.
