Kumho Tire U.S.A. Expands Community Volunteer Efforts in Greater Atlanta

ATLANTA — Kumho Tire U.S.A. is ramping up its commitment to community service in the Greater Atlanta area, where the company has been headquartered since 2016.

The tire manufacturer recently participated in two major volunteer initiatives: the Dunwoody Nature Center’s “Second Saturday” program and the Atlanta Hawks’ Million Meal Pack event at State Farm Arena. These efforts are part of a broader push to deepen the company’s engagement with the local community.

“Kumho is committed to giving back to the community where we live and work,” said Ed Cho, CEO of Kumho Tire U.S.A. “We are honored to partner with local organizations like the Atlanta Hawks on impactful initiatives that positively contribute to the community.”

During the Dunwoody Nature Center event, Kumho employees joined local volunteers to clear overgrown paths, remove invasive plants, and improve natural spaces, enhancing the park’s accessibility and ecological health.

On Sept. 27, Kumho employees also took part in the Million Meal Pack, the Atlanta Hawks’ largest annual service initiative aimed at combating food insecurity. Volunteers assembled more than one million meals for distribution to families in need across Metro Atlanta.

The company says additional volunteer activities are planned through the end of 2025 and into 2026, reinforcing its long-term commitment to public service.

Kumho Tire, one of the world’s largest tire manufacturers, has a 60-year history of innovation and is focused on delivering high-performance products globally. Its U.S. operations include sales, marketing, product development, and distribution, all based in Atlanta.
