TEMPE, Ariz. — Dutch Bros Coffee, the Dutch Bros Foundation and its customers collectively donated more than $1.1 million to local food nonprofits during the company’s annual Dutch Luv Day of Giving, reinforcing a grassroots commitment to community support and shared kindness.
On Feb. 13, Dutch Bros Foundation contributed $1 for every drink sold at Dutch Bros locations nationwide to community-based food organizations working to address hunger and food insecurity. Beneficiaries included Central California Food Bank, San Antonio Food Bank, Utah Food Bank and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, among others selected by local operators.
“This year’s Dutch Luv Day of Giving results are a collective effort and dedication from our customers, teams and communities,” said Tana Davila, chief marketing officer at Dutch Bros. “Making a massive difference one cup at a time is ingrained into who we are and what we do at Dutch Bros. We’re grateful to partner with local nonprofits each year to host this giveback and support those organizations working to address food insecurity in our communities.”
The Dutch Luv Day tradition exemplifies a model of community-powered generosity, where everyday purchases help fuel significant impact in places where people live and work. Dutch Bros Coffee, founded in Grants Pass, Oregon, now operates more than 1,100 drive-thru shops across 25 states and promotes a culture centered on kindness and giving back.
“At Heartitude, we celebrate actions that elevate compassion into everyday life,” said Bruce Petillo, founder of Heartitude. “The way Dutch Bros and its community come together to lift others represents the best of human connection — proving that when people unite with a shared purpose, even the simplest act, like buying a cup of coffee, can ripple into lasting, positive change.”
