Hamptons Fresh is the latest bottled water to hit the East End—and it does a lot more than quench a parched beachgoers thirst.
Each 17-ounce bottle, sold for $1.50, helps benefit local East Hampton charities such as The Retreat, Paddle for Pink, and the Sag Harbor Community Food Pantry. And it’s all thanks to soon-to-be Loomis Chaffee School senior Adam Jannetti. In just two weeks, he has raised nearly $800, which he divided among the three organizations on Thursday.
The 17-year-old Sag Harbor resident was inspired by his mother’s devotion to the East End community and decided that he too wanted to make a difference. Adam’s mother, Ellie Kurrus, is vice president of development at The Retreat—a Bridgehampton nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse.
