Jenks Brewery Creating New Beer To Help Breast Cancer Survivors

JENKS, Okla. – A brewery in Jenks is helping celebrate survivors of breast cancer with a new beer.

The Cape Brewing Company in Jenks is creating the beer with the help of over a dozen breast cancer survivors.

The beer will be tinted pink, which is the color of breast cancer awareness.

The beer takes about a month to ferment and put together, so the women are starting the process now.

Women made signs for the race in support and shared stories of their experiences.

Michelle Clay, who was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2001, said it was hard for her to put herself out there at first, but now has found a home with other survivors.
