Paul Davis Restoration Donates $1,000,000 to Support American Red Cross Disaster Relief Efforts

Paul Davis Restoration, a leading provider of emergency services and property damage restoration, has reaffirmed its commitment to disaster relief by donating $1,000,000 to the American Red Cross. This significant contribution is part of the company’s ongoing support for the Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP), which helps the Red Cross prepare for and respond to disasters across the United States.

Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Paul Davis Restoration operates a network of nearly 350 franchises nationwide. The company has a long-standing partnership with the American Red Cross, and this latest donation builds on a previous pledge of $500,000 made earlier this year. The combined $1,000,000 donation underscores Paul Davis Restoration’s dedication to aiding communities in times of crisis.

Rich Wilson, President and CEO of Paul Davis Restoration, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for continuing its support during a period marked by unprecedented natural disasters. “We are thrilled to continue our support of the American Red Cross during one of the biggest times of need in this century,” Wilson said. “Our initial donation of $500,000 in January of this year proved to all of us at Paul Davis Restoration that we have a very similar dedication to providing extraordinary care while serving people in their time of need. We are proud and excited to commit this now $1,000,000 to the American Red Cross.”

The donation comes in the wake of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, two of the most devastating disasters in recent history. By contributing to the ADGP, Paul Davis Restoration ensures that the Red Cross is equipped with the necessary resources, trained volunteers, and innovative technology to provide immediate relief and support to those affected by such catastrophic events.

Anne McKeough, Chief Development Officer at the American Red Cross, highlighted the importance of such contributions. “We’re extremely grateful for Paul Davis Restoration’s donations, which ensure that we can continue to build our capacity and resources ahead of time, keep up with the pace of frequent disasters, and assist people in their darkest hours,” McKeough said.

In addition to their financial support, Paul Davis Restoration team members have actively participated in various volunteer activities. Over the past year, they have contributed more than 250 volunteer hours, including working with the Red Cross Disaster Action Team, installing smoke alarms through the Sound The Alarm campaign, certifying team members in CPR, and hosting blood drives. During the Sound The Alarm event held nationwide last spring, Paul Davis Restoration team members, alongside local fire departments, installed smoke detectors in over 250 homes that previously lacked them.

The company’s commitment to the Red Cross mission extends to addressing the critical need for blood donations. Throughout the year, Paul Davis Restoration hosted 22 blood drives, collecting 515 units of blood, which have the potential to save over 1,545 lives. This effort is particularly significant given the nationwide shortages of blood donations experienced by the Red Cross.

Paul Davis Restoration’s proactive approach to disaster relief and community support exemplifies its core values and dedication to making a positive impact. By aligning with the American Red Cross, the company not only provides essential financial resources but also fosters a culture of volunteerism and preparedness among its employees.

As natural disasters continue to pose significant challenges, the partnership between Paul Davis Restoration and the American Red Cross serves as a beacon of hope and resilience. Through their combined efforts, they are better equipped to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring that communities receive the support they need during their most vulnerable moments.
