Reconnect with Humanity: The Digital Age Experience

In an era marked by digital connectivity, a new immersive experience aims to reconnect individuals with their humanity. The “Notes to Humanity” experience, organized by the nonprofit Life Calling, opens to the public on February 20 in New York City’s Meatpacking District.

The free event, running through February 27, invites visitors to reflect on the question, “What does it mean to preserve your humanity in the digital age?” The experience begins in a meditative, moss-covered space and transitions into a quiet library setting, encouraging introspection and handwritten contributions to a global archive.

John Mack, founder of Life Calling, emphasizes the importance of maintaining human essence amidst technological advancements. “Being human and living in a digital world are not mutually exclusive,” Mack said. “Our goal is to engage people in developing the self-awareness and interpersonal connection needed to ensure our humanity blossoms for generations to come.”

The campaign will continue with events and workshops worldwide, aiming to shape research, policy, and public conversation on human connection in the digital age.
