Nestlé Purina PetCare Company announced that its charitable donations in 2024 exceeded $37 million, supporting a range of academic partnerships, nonprofit organizations, and community initiatives across the United States.
The donations included $22.9 million in monetary grants and sponsorships, along with $14.2 million in in-kind contributions of Purina pet food and Tidy Cats litter. These contributions reflect Purina’s commitment to enhancing the human-animal bond and advancing pet health through education and community support.
“At Purina, we believe that people and pets are better together,” said Joe Sivewright, CEO of Nestlé Purina PetCare. “Our 2024 contributions are a testament to our dedication to supporting the communities where our employees live and work, and to fostering the well-being of pets and their owners.”

Key initiatives funded by Purina in 2024 included the Purple Leash Project, a partnership with RedRover to create pet-friendly spaces for domestic abuse survivors, and the Service Dog Salute, which helps connect veterans with PTSD service dogs. The company also provided over $14 million worth of pet food and litter to shelters and pet owners in need.
Purina’s academic partnerships aimed to advance the future of pet health through research and education. The company supported various programs and institutions dedicated to veterinary science and pet care innovation.
