MINNEAPOLIS — Dairy Queen is inviting fans to turn their sweet tooth into a force for good with the return of Miracle Treat Day on July 31. For every Blizzard® Treat purchased at participating U.S. locations, the company will donate $1 or more to local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The annual event, now in its 42nd year, has become a cornerstone of Dairy Queen’s philanthropic efforts. Since the partnership began, the DQ system has raised more than $185 million to support pediatric care, critical treatments, and family assistance programs across 170 hospitals nationwide.
“Participating in Miracle Treat Day at DQ is a tasty and meaningful way for anyone to turn their Blizzard Treat purchase into something that makes a real difference for children in their local community,” said Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing at American Dairy Queen Corporation.
Fans are encouraged to share their support on social media using the hashtag #MiracleTreatDay from July 21 through July 31. To find a participating location or learn more, customers can visit DQ.com or download the DQ® App.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, founded over 40 years ago, has raised more than $9 billion to fund life-saving treatments, pediatric equipment, and family support services. All donations stay local, helping hospitals meet the unique needs of their communities.
