SEATTLE — Valentine Roofing has opened nominations for its annual Peace of Mind Program, offering a free roof replacement to a deserving educator or school staff member in the Puget Sound region.
The initiative, now in its latest round, aims to recognize teachers, bus drivers, and other school personnel who dedicate themselves to their communities, often while postponing personal needs such as home repairs. Nominations are open through Sept. 15, 2025, and can be submitted at valentineroof.com/nominate.
“Educators and school staff pour so much into their students and communities,” said Steven Heller, CEO of Valentine Roofing. “Too often, personal needs like home repairs take a back seat. Through the Peace of Mind Program, we want to recognize and support these everyday heroes with the gift of a new roof.”
Since its founding in 2008, Valentine Roofing has used the Peace of Mind Program to support neighbors facing personal hardship, health challenges, or financial struggles. Past recipients include families affected by ALS, veterans in need of shelter, a Gold Star spouse, and a single mother who opened her home to another family in crisis.
The company, known for its award-winning service and community-first mission, continues to make a lasting impact across the Puget Sound area. The Peace of Mind Program is a cornerstone of its commitment to giving back.
