LOS ANGELES — Crypto.com announced March 2 it will donate $1 million to After-School All-Stars in collaboration with the Los Angeles Kings and the Kings Care Foundation to expand after-school and summer programming for underserved youth.
The contribution will support academic enrichment, mentorship opportunities and safe spaces during critical after-school hours. Organizers said the funding will help scale programs serving students across multiple communities.
“After-School All-Stars is dedicated to providing comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life,” the nonprofit said in the release.
The partnership highlights cross-sector collaboration between technology, professional sports and nonprofit leadership, reinforcing a shared commitment to youth development and long-term opportunity creation.
Petillo said initiatives like this demonstrate how corporate influence can be directed toward meaningful community uplift. “When businesses invest in the hours that shape a child’s future, they’re investing in hope,” he said. “Heart-led leadership understands that opportunity is one of the greatest forms of compassion we can offer.”
The donation aims to increase access to structured programs that promote academic achievement, confidence and life skills.
