Brandywine Cares Celebrates Growing Community Impact

Brandywine Realty Trust is celebrating the success of its Brandywine Cares initiative, which has significantly expanded its impact on local communities. The program, launched in 2015, focuses on supporting education, health, and wellness through various volunteer efforts and partnerships.

In 2024, Brandywine Cares volunteers contributed over 10,000 hours to community service projects, including school renovations, food drives, and health clinics. The initiative has also raised more than $1 million for local nonprofits, helping to address critical needs in the Philadelphia area.

“Our commitment to community service is a core part of our mission,” said Brandywine Realty Trust CEO Jerry Sweeney. “We are proud of the positive impact our employees have made and look forward to continuing our efforts to support and uplift our local communities.”

Brandywine Cares has partnered with numerous organizations, including the Philadelphia Education Fund and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, to enhance its outreach and effectiveness. The program’s success is attributed to the dedication and enthusiasm of Brandywine employees, who are encouraged to participate in volunteer activities throughout the year.
